    This is a hot take.

Your recollection of the 4th quarter bowl collapse is off. The defense didn’t make one stop and our corners got beat ever possesion. Our QB probably played his best game of the year and you have to credit UCO for making stops late to get the ball back.

UCO was a top ranked defense in the country giving up less than 15ppg and ASU put up the best offensive performance against them all year.

That game was 100% lost by defense and our lack to defend the deep ball. Once you have a lead, the game is on the defense to win.

And, the Architect of that defense is now the HC. So, pessimism is justified.

I really think the Rams fate lies in how talented the OC and DC are. Also, plucking Clark from Tarleton was a great pick up. Definitely a wait and see.

Yes offense has no excuses to take a step backwards with everybody they return and pieces they added. Hopefully they grasp the offensive quick enough. Biggest adjustment will be terminology as scheme will relatively very similar.

I think Clark will do a good job as DC. Just interested to see how talented we are on that side. It looks like our D-line will take a dip with Markus Jones graduating and Bright Ihegwero transferring to ACU, but our DB’s and Corners should be an upgrade (God willing).

There is NO REASON why ASU should not be in the top tier (top 4 teams) and competing for the LSC title.

The defensive 7 were excellent...the only thing that killed ASU's defense was going over the top.....didn't have the DBs. That has been FIXED 3 fold.

Plus only losing 4 starters. Now.....there are NO EXCUSES.

This isnt a "rebuild" team. Hence why Girsch was made HC. He is not having to build from the ground up.

I EXPECT big things from ASU.....and accept nothing less.
