Really, you guys want to get political. I thought this was a sports site; we can all get political real fast if that’s what you want.

Yeah, Sobafish gonna bring the KGB, AOC, and the Democrat Socialists of America down on you. Who cares that their style of Government has a 100% failure rate. Starvation in the streets is the final outcome. That is what they never tell folks in their propaganda. You might want to pick up a book called Animal Farm and become enlightened. It was wrote by a democratic socialist George Orwell who woke up.

    Now back to football.

Lighten up Francis. And if you go back and read a few posts up, it was just a gentle jab at Turbo for a “political” comment.

I used to teach the book Animal Farm and the book 1984; I know them well. Kidding or not, nobody likes to be called communist. My sons are in the military, saw your comment and didn’t think that was funny. Now, continue with your football blog

The Rams have had their number the past few years...will be interesting to see what kind of product we trot out there.

Saginaw is a tough team from a pretty tough conference. Angelo has had our number for several years.

Although we recruited some much needed beef on both OL and DL from the JuCo ranks, we could be sitting at 1-2 heading into ENMU. I hope I'm wrong and you're right.

Bailiff likes playing internationally. The last time he played an international game was in Australia and he and the Owls were humiliated 62-7. Great start to a season in which was his last at Rice. Going into season he was already on the hot seat and it turned out to be his last at Rice. Not that losing to a top 20 team is a disgrace, but the players looked like they had had a week of practice and they were flat as week old road kill on Interstate 45.

After researching on AEFANL I could not anything but a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/21407860582...543724&sfns=mo
They are still tryout players. And I guess any player can go out and tryout. I don’t think any player from Monterrey tech will be selected as they have a game on this day. Also I don’t think auténtico Tigres would let players join AEFANL(specially for one game), due to risk of injury. So I don’t have high hope for this team.
I guess, team was created to play this exhibition game.

So, for lack of a better term, it's the Mexican equivalent of a US program's JV team. But, even though the game doesn't count in the standings, at least TAMU-C will get some valuable reps to start the season instead of an open date on Week 1.

Also more exposure for the program. In Mexico, commerce is know as the school where Luis Perez went to, he become some what famous in Mexico back, when he signed with the Rams. Because of his heritage. However due to him being release then with the whole AAF deal. And then signed and re release with the Eagles his fame has die down somewhat. But at least people in Mexico(who follows America football) know about commerce.

The odds are 1-2 going into Portales.

I hate to be full Eeyore about the Javs, but most of you have seen our performance for the balance of this decade. False starts thinking things were turning around and now almost every school save WNM has or will be doing some major capital projects to help their programs and you can see why it's hard to get excited. I hope I am very wrong and things will turn around this season and likewise our administration will finally address the other issues and give us Alums and fans a timeline of when things are going to be happening and if they really have a plan. But I am not holding out any hope it will be done in the immediate future if at all. If we are back at 5-6, 4-7 or worse at the end of this season, it might be the thing that makes me stop caring at all about the program. Never thought I'd be at that point.

Orwell is best known for writing about the dangerous of totalitarianism. If you are against socialism I advise you to no longer support the US military, police officers, public schools, DoT, or any other numerous socialist organizations that we enjoy and rely upon on a daily basis. Pure ignorance.

"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism, as I understand it.”

I suggest you read up a bit more, if you want to be at all accurate. https://www.biographyonline.net/soci...george-orwell/ - great place to start.

Nice try Turbo. Your idea of Socialism with a ruling Government has a 100% failure rate. Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.

But, the greatest thing going for Socialism is the ignorance that is taught at Universities and HSs.

Winston Churchill put it most correctly when he stated it’s the perfect opportunity for everyone to share misery equally. Venezuelan residents would agree whole heartedly at the present time.

Now back football and enough of your extreme leftist ideology. Save it for CCN the Communist News Network.

You know you can ignore Turbo, right?

How do you think your schools going to do?

Yeah, your right. Gets on my nerves when people misinform others. So, I guess he or she won that part of it. Ultimate troll.

I’m guessing the Raiders will be cellar dwellers again. Probably beat the likes of Kansas maybe Baylor, K State and Ok State. I’m really just looking for improvement and competitive play for the whole game this year. I do know after that horrendous recruiting class they have gotten some transfer help.

From what I’ve seen Wells will not carry on the Air Raid tradition. It’s definitely going to be interesting.
