It's funny. Not many who saw him play thought he was an NFL player. He was a great D2 receiver. The kind that made every play. The kind that every team would have wanted. But no one thought he would become one of the best in the NFL, including the teams in the NFL it seems.

Didn't AT have to pay the Vikings $200 to try out?

I will never forget NW beating FH both years on their way to one NC and another appearance. Love how Coach T got his guys to win.

Kinda makes you wonder what his numbers would have been for a pass happy team.
Delanie Walker was pretty good as well and still in the league. Yes I know he is a tight end now but he was a wide receiver at UCM. Heck he even returned kicks.

My point was that speed (and only speed) isn’t everything for a WR ... my prime example here is Jake Soy - he didn’t have Bane’s speed, but he could run his routes, get separation as needed, and he had way better hands.

    Makes sense?

2 one point victories since 2006 (both in the past 2 seasons and the only competitive games that Hayes has had with NW during that time)...

Well yeah of course it is going to be like that, winning programs have to be built over time. What is important is the now. If u go far back enough Im sure Pitt fans could claim you were their ***** based on all time (no idea what your all time is)

Pitt needs to erase the last ~13 years for that to happen. NW has the all time 27-25 now I think.

Very interesting symbolism in that prediction. Could that indicate the green success enjoyed by NW quarterback's Bolles 1.0 & 2.0 will spark magic for Bolles 3.0 in 2019 and will it be the year of the donkey? Heady stuff for sure. I need time to smoke the pipe, check the Chinese calendar, and consult with Donkey Damus.

Depending on what those asterisks replaced, it might just mean Warrensburg doesn't have their STD problem figured out yet.
