    Default From MEC to NBA

Just saw that former WJU star (and Region Player of the Year) Haywood Highsmith made his NBA debut last night, logging 5 minutes for the Sixers. That's pretty impressive, and a real testament that young man's hard work.

Any of you here who have been following the Region for longer than I know of any other guys who made it from our D2 region to the NBA?

Forget about region, there are only 2 D2 players currently on NBA rosters. HIGHSMITH with the SIXERS and JAYLEN MORRIS ( Molloy College-Atlantic region) with the BUCKS.
