Williams makes (I believe) $7M at NC. Add that to a 5 year guarantee........plus a lot more off-court money, the prestige of a top name program, and Beard would be pretty damn tempted I'd bet.
    That would be AWESOME!!!!!

According to USA Today NC Coach makes $4 million and is 7th highest paid in country. My guess is it’s going to take $4 million plus to move him and there really aren’t a lot is schools that can stomach that. Interesting to see what happens. IMHO it’s going to take a Basketball Diehard Blueblood school or Texas to pony up. I don’t see it happening this year. And an added plus for Beard is there is no pressure on him in Lubbock from now to eternity.

He is already one of the highest paid coaches at 28th in country and he could get more at Tech.
Making 2.8 million yearly, one could get used to living down in the pleasure spot on the South Plains - Lubbock.

Do I detect a little sarcasm here? Nesby took over Ottawa Univ, a relatively new football program out in Phoenix/Surprise, AZ and led them to a 7-4 record in 2018. Knocked off powerhouse Wayland Baptist Univ like 75-14! They are NAIA classification at the moment. I wonder if the WT Buffs would schedule them in the future in event the OUAZ decide to go to Div II?

That is probably something one will not ever have to be concerned about, TT winning a National football title! They would have to win the Big XII (-2) first. Mars will be colonized before that ever happens.

Quite true. Of course there is the spring training football to follow. Then the college football magazines come out in late May or early June. Always fun to read up on the early predictions from the prognosticators. Playboy magazine was not a reliable source of predictions, however.

MANY people are feeling confident about this game. Me....not so much.

BUT I am BEYOND excited for this one.

On the flip side.....I am worried that Philly may sneak by New Orleans. I STRONGLY DISLIKE the Beagles!!!
The questionable no call on Pass Interference took care of Nawlins going to the SB.

It wasn't questionable, it was blatantly missed.

Then call it that. So obvious that Ray Charles wonders how the refs didn't call it. Unless the refs were paid by LA...

Not sure Ray Charles was a good analogy since he died in 2004. Stevie Wonder perhaps?

WT Buffaloes had a record day on the diamond. They beat UTPB 25-3 in seven innings. Kaufmann set a school record with 10 RBIs.
