    Intresting.

"It's speculated Hatcher wants a total salary of roughly $200,000 a year. Not all that money would come from the school through the state, though. Part of a coach's salary is often raised by boosters. Another revenue source for head coaches is a weekly coach's radio program."

Pretty sure he makes more than that already.

So have we lost Bell? Or are we just sharing a bad dream?

    We lost Bell.

We'll be ok (we won 3 before he got here. We'll win 3 after he's gone).

It seems that there is always a line of coaches wanting the VSU jobs.........

Thats the only problem with success at this level...coaches wanna move up. Especially those who come down from D1.

VSU recruitment is going to take a big hit,
With losing out for 4 weeks to playoffs, and then having NO coaches to
ring doorbells, this Sophmore class is going to be slim, I fear.

I know having won a National Championship is great PR, but does it
equate to getting transfers and Blue Chip H.S. Players. ??

I'm curious of how many players might transfer, also. So many young Bell recruits on the roster.

Are chocolate chip cookies included in coaching perks?

Could some of them get scholarships and transfer to USF? Never thought about that.

We had half a staff last January and our class turned out okay, better then I expected.

I thought about this and if I wouldn't be surprised if we don't lose out on some of our offensive players possible quarterback

Typical recruiting classes off championship teams aren't as good as the others because of the extended period playing/preparing rather than aggressively recruiting and building relationships.

If Propst was college coaching material, he'd be one by now.

    Also, just read this:

Blazers offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau, a former quality-control assistant at UF, reportedly also could join Bell in Tampa, but the school hasn't confirmed it.

I think this all depends on who stays. If Kade Bell somehow remains in Valdosta, I feel many of these young offensive players might stay put. There's no mention of him going to USF yet. And, from reading their forums, their fans seemed to feel the he was too inexperienced to be on their staff.

    We shall see.

Isn't he a GA? How much experience do you need for that.

On their website it says GA but some media articles (and his Twitter page) say Offensive Coordinator/Quarterback Coach. Yet, I'm sure GA is an option for him at USF.

I heard had completed his grad work (but no clue if it’s true - we’ve all been hearing a lot lately).
