That is a name that I haven't heard mentioned in a positive way in a long time.

What he did was awful. Plain and simple. However, from the articles I’ve read of him over the last couple of years or so he’s committed to changing his image and has worked hard to prove that. From what I’ve heard, he’s abstained from drinking and born again Christian in the process.

I truly hope that he has learned from that tragedy. I assume that Trevor Shelley is still in prison but I do not know. I do visit with Ryan Kolstad at home games.

I sure hope so as well. He’s very lucky to not get a sentence like Trevor did... however he was released from jail back in August.

150 days doesn't seem like enough to me.

The story, imo, shouldn't be about Nelson and Shelley (f*** 'em), it should be about Kolstad, his life, family and progress he's made after such a heinous attack.

I'm excited for the AAF, I think it will be entertaining. Lots of NSIC talent will be represented. We'll see if it catches on...

Same here. Way more excited for the AAF over the XFL

I think being first to market will be a huge advantage for the AAF.

Totally agree. The XFL announced first but the AAF got their s*** together much faster and are going to be the first to people's homes on a major nextwork even during a time that I typically start to zone out of sports save for the NCAA basketball tournament
