Lets look at the numbers before I add my 2 Pennies. Looking at the last 2 coaches both spending 10 years + with program

1997 just won its 3rd National Championship of the decade Tony G Coach Assistant Coach
1998 ? LSC South Champ Tony G Coach Assistant Coach
1999 ? Tony G Coach LSC Champ ( First Year as Head Coach)
    2000 ? Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2001 27 + wins Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2002 30 + wins Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2003 29-8 Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2004 19-16 Tony G Coach
    2005 27-10 Tony G Coach
    2006 34-4 Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2007 36-8 Tony G Coach LSC Champ
    2008 34-5 Tony G Coach LSC Champ
2009 39-4 Skoch Coach LSC Champ (First Year)
2010 27-9 Skoch Coach LSC Champ
2011 34-3 Skoch Coach LSC Champ
    2012 33-5 Skoch Coach
2013 35-4 Skoch Coach LSC Champ
2014 32-5 Skoch Coach LSC Champ
    2015 16-17 Skoch Coach
    2016 18-14 Skoch Coach
    2017 23-14 Skoch Coach
    2018 19-13 Skoch Coach

You are Correct about his winning percentage but if you look at the numbers his percentage started to fall and fall fast .

He went from having 21 L's in his first 4 years
to having 58 L's in his final 4 years

Skoch did start off winning but some will argue it wasn't his team he won with. Skoch is a great coach but I don't necessarily think he is a great recruiter. Got to have both in this game. I believe Sarah helped with the recruiting early in Skochs career at which may have helped him retain and pick up players during his years 5 and 6. after that straight down hill unfortunately.

I had a friend whos daughter was to meet with the Coach in a high school tournament in Denver. Coach blew them off made father pretty darn mad. He said Coach wasnt good at talking to players about coming on board came across badly.. my two cents on what i know

I hear from a very good source that there has been a lot of interest in the position.
Some nationally known coaches, some former players.

From the names I've heard the direction will change

I heard we had 37 applications so far. And some very good ones in that bunch. I'm guessing a new hire within two weeks.

I’m hoping Jamie Magalei from Colorado Mines gets the job.

I think WT can do better than someone from a school of mimes.

Default OT: WT - Head Volleyball Coach Skoch let go

I’d go for Mark Pryor, formerly at Commerce, now HC at U of N Dakota. Makes less than Skoch was making. Heard he wants get back to Tx. Also Kendra Morgan Potts, former Lady Buff AA, Asst coach for former WT coach Tony Graystone at UT Corpus (now at TX Tech).
