Thread: PSAC Needs to Invest in Cold Weather Equipment

Default PSAC Needs to Invest in Cold Weather Equipment

I can't believe PSAC does not have any heaters on sidelines for these cold games. This should be mandatory. We are not in the 60's and you know PA gets cold. Just sayin.

Then call Gubner Wolf and the idiot Republican House and Senate leaders and ask them all to raise your taxes so they can authorize the SSHE to buy them.

While you are at it, ask them to raise them some more so the state can go back to funding each school at 70% of their operational costs and make the tuition affordable for PA students.

There may be a reason every D1 and NFL team has a sauna on the sidelines in 20 degree weather.

Damn, I'd hate to see the reaction if he was suggesting a bad thing.

Not bashing the idea, would have been awesome to have and make you feel pretty elite, but I can't recall any players or coaches ever complaining about it being too cold for PSAC football or not having anything to warm up on the sideline.

Isn't there some sort of winter coat designed to go over a football uniform? IIRC they kinda look like a garment bag.

It’s silly to even say it. This conference does everything backwards and you think they are going to buy sideline heaters?

They can’t even make their cross over schedule work properly.

It looked like we had two on our sideline Saturday. At least I'm guessing that's what they were. Two cylindrical-shaped things on wheels. If we did have heaters, it sure didn't help us on the field.

Had ARMENTI been able to stay, we’d have had heated benches long ago.

I'm just saying that PSAC can step their game up a little more then what they are doing. Maybe the NCAA can provide some money assistance. Cross over schedule is part of that as well.

That was just a bad game from the start, SRU will be ok. You have a new season now (most don't) stay fired up, SRU has a good team.
