Pitt State still being 10th is a fun joke. But I guess it is consistent with FHSU and NW being ahead of SAU and Harding.

What do you guys think if UIndy loses? Hate to see the MIAA maybe play each other R1. Also really tough to beat a good opponent twice

Maybe they only drop UIndy to 5th with a loss? Maybe SAU jumps NW? Maybe NW loses and drops to 7th? Maybe UIndy loses and drops to 8th, but still gets in via earned access, just to piss off SAU?

Fun in the same vein as playing "pull my finger" in a yugo with 3 other passengers.

Happens more than one thinks. Heck as of now the 2 GAC's are going against each other. And it was a few years back when GV finished up with Saggy, only to play them the very next week in round 1.

UIndy dropping to 8th would probably anger Harding more than SAU, since SAU defeated Harding 28-23 in Week 2. It would likely be Harding that ended up in 7th and SAU 6th if UIndy were to fall.

So if everyone wins except Indy, it would look like this:
    1 OBU
    2 GV
    3 Ferris
    4 FH
    5 NW
    6 Indy
    7 SAU

I don't disagree with your assessment, but I hate to see OBU get the 1 seed just because of the weird situation at Ferris, when no one outside of the state of Arkansas thinks OBU is a better team. I also wish we could avoid conference matchups in the first round, especially when teams 4-7 have indistinguishable resumes. If the committee wants to admit that there's no good way to do the numbers and ignore the Ferris situation, what I'd like to see is this (again, I don't think we would see this unless the committee decides to just go off the reservation with their seeding approach):

    Ferris
    OBU
    GV
    Indy
    FHSU
    SAU
    NW

If Indy loses, slide them all the way to 7.
