Default 11/3 Ashland at #8 Grand Valley

Thought I would get this started. Key matchup in the Gliac race. Both teams playing well, should be a good game.

I disagree, the Lakers haven't played well the last two games.

Going to be an uphill battle for GV in this one, I think. Too many injuries.

Is Andrew Vaughn playing for Ashland? I don't think he played last week, did he?

I see the classic GV ploy of sandbagging by its posters is going strong!

This game is a pickem, at GV but the Lakers are dinged up, but AU with a new Qb with 7 games under his belt and their starting RB Vaughn is unknown.

No sandbagging at all. GV has not played well the last few weeks against DU or SV. AU has always given GV fits, even in Allendale.

I have not heard anything about Vaughn's status. He was helped off the field during the SV game and spent about 15 min in the medical tent then the paramedics were called and he was carted off. I did hear it was just percautionary but makes you wonder how serious the injury was. I am wondering if AU FR QB Brenner is playing. He landed on his shoulder pretty bad and had to come out of the Davenport game with about 8 min left in game. Bahl is fully capable of running the offense. He was the starter entering the season till some off the field issues after week one derailed his season.

I think playing in Allendale is huge today. If this was in Ashland I would like our chances alot more. Hard to win inside of Lubbers. AU's defense has been playing great all year but obvisouly not the same on offense with the young offensive line and not having Tarnowski running the show. GV is going to get their points I just don't know if AU is going to be able to score enough. Heres to a injury free game of both sides.

Big game tonight for both squads - always tough and hard hitting - GV needs to pick it up to win this game as Ashland has improved throughout the season

Ashland is no slouch. Their biggest loss was from Wayne St. by 9.

All of their losses have been by 7 or less I think.
It seems almost ever year, they knock off a top GLIAC contender.

Lakers had better be on it.
