Thread: Something Else HSU will miss

Default Something Else HSU will miss

I realize this is a football blog, and we don't care about things like academics here, but I couldn't help but think that HSU will also be missing out on some good students too. Here's proof as I am sure all these student athletes mentioned will transfer from HSU:

The more things we can point to that show the great things football brings to a university, the less likely it is that another university will act like HSU (and WWU etc....)

They likely lose a 4.0 Sophomore in Andrew Tingstad. That is very impressive and kudos to him as it is in Economics!

    Econ was tough for me.

Tingstad's brother plays st WOU, maybe he'll join him in Monmouth.

For us numbers people, yes! I saw people in my 100 level logic course though that couldn't process the basics at CWU. I skipped a quarter of the class and still pulled an easy A as I was bored in it. A 300 level Linear Algebra course was my class right before it.

Great, although bitter final home game in the Redwood Bowl:

I'm sorry that this is happening you and your of loyal alumni. You all deserve much better. All Humboldt State transfers are welcome to Simon Fraser and helping us build a tradition.

I cannot understand the logic used in the decision to drop football. At the DII level, football can and is an overall profitable venture for the university as a whole. Combined with the financial support of the North Coast communities, this is just a stupid choice.
