Saginaw Valley @ Northwood - How will SVSU respond to being knocked out of playoff contention.
Northern Michigan @ Wayne St. - Northern slightly better at this point.
Davenport @ Ferris St. - Davenport continues the end of season gauntlet.
Ashland @ Grand Valley St. - Really depends on the GV QB situation.

    Week 10

Saginaw Valley @ Northwood Hoping Saginaw isn't too down after a tough loss in the battle of the valleys
Northern Michigan @ Wayne St. Wayne keeps the momentum going
Davenport vs Ferris St. Davenport team shows up?
Ashland vs Grand Valley St. close one but I think Bart comes back and the Lakers have just enough to win at home

Cole is the smartest choice in my opinion. He brings a dual threat to the table.

You know there’s zero chance MM would ever bench Bart if he’s healthy. I was much more impressed with Cole after last game but i’d Stay with the 4 year starter, although I wish we’d mix up the play calling as much as we did with Cole

Does anyone from the GV side think Cole makes the offense more difficult to defend with his running? Or does the drop off in passing make his mobility a wash?

Over one game the answer MIGHT be obvious. Over a season, the injury potential also goes way up for mobile QBs. And none of us know how banged up a player may or may not be at any stage of a season. Tons of variables. I'm glad I don't make the call.

We’re literally talking about one of the most prolific passers in the history of D2 here. A healthy Bart is the best option and it’s not even a question. He threw for almost 500 yards against Ferris and it was one of the worst games of his career. Everyone salivates over a running QB but Coke Kotopka has started one freaking game against a team that’s going to be sitting at home during the playoffs.

Well unfortunately I agree, MM is an idiot so he probably won't play Cole. And that's one of many reasons GV will crap the bed if they make the playoffs. But MM will still have a job. It's time for a regime change for GV football. Start with replacing the AD and HC.

Yes! Cole is a dual threat. Bart is not. It's simple. But MM will F it up.
