Default One Mustang breaks another Mustang's all-time NAIA mark

Agreed, its a bit off-topic, but Southwest Minnesota fans might remember the name

Morningside's Connor Niles has caught a lot of touchdown passes. None may mean more than a 30-yard toss early in the third quarter against Concordia University Saturday, Oct. 27. As the Sioux City native cleared the Bulldog defensive backfield and dove past the pylon, it marked the 60th time he’d hauled in a pay dirt pass. That number moved him past Southwest Minnesota State’s Alvin Ashley as the career scoring reception leader for the NAIA.

Expect his teammate Qb Trent Solsma to break the season TD mark he tied last year, (55), as Solsma has 46 TD passes to date with 3 games to go. He has not thrown an interception this season.

    BBB-
We stayed overnight in Sioux Falls Friday and went to watch MSU practice at Morningside. It was over 20 years since I had been there and it brought back a lot of memories. Talked to a number of Mustang fans at the Texas Road House after the game on Saturday who were wearing maroon. MC is having another great season, I hope that you take it all this year!
