    Default D2 Pro Hopefuls

Below is a look at the top names on my radar and those who I believe are most likely for a NFL Combine invite, get drafted, or get signed. I think Cominsky, Pipkins, Oliver, Johnson, Onuoha, Ballentine, Jones, Gardenhire, and possibly Dulin are most likely to get a combine invite.

    DE Markus Jones Angelo State
    WR Deonte Harris Assumption
    WR Kyrion Parker Central Missouri
    TE Seth Hebert Central Missouri
    OT Derek Puni Central Missouri
    OLB Alex Figueroa Central Oklahoma
    DE John Cominsky Charleston (WV)
WR Brody Oliver Colorado School of Mines
    CB Darius Williams CSU-Pueblo
    ILB Brandon Payer CSU-Pueblo
    RB Bernard McDondle CSU-Pueblo
    DE Rob Simmons Davenport (MI)
    CB Darren Gardenhire Delta State
WR Trinity Benson East Central (OK)
    OLB Jerry Iweh Fairmont State
    OT Devon Johnson Ferris State
SS Doyin Jibowu Fort Hays State
    RB Marc Jones Gannon
    WR Trey Brock Hillsdale
    CB Josh Simmons Limestone (SC)
    WR Ashton Dulin Malone (OH)
    K Casey Bednarski Minnesota State-Mankato
    WR Cory Contini Ohio Dominican
OT Trey Pipkins Sioux Falls (SD)
OT Adam Sheffield Sioux Falls (SD)
DE Michael Onuoha Texas A&M Commerce
SS Mook Reynolds Texas A&M Commerce
    WR Charles Holland Tiffin (OH)
    DE Iseoluwapo Jegede Valdosta State
    CB Corey Ballentine Washburn

It is too bad the GVSU offense hinders Bart Williams as much as it does. Biggest arm I've seen from any GVSU QB, which is saying a lot, but he has little to no tape throwing anything besides go routes.

How often is this list updated as it relates to injuries and overall progress?

Big arm, yeh but F,A,&F were better QB's and Michuta had as big an arm. Williams would be lucky to get a FA tryout

I'd imagine kicker Kristov Martinez from Commerce will get a look too. Last Saturday he became the all-time DII points leader for kickers and went 5-5 with a 53 and a 55 yarder. He also hasn't missed an extra point in over 2 years.

Classic example of Mitchell not using and developing players to their full potential. Seems like a very basic head coach task to me. But wtf do I know?!?!

If Williams had come to Pitt we could have added throwing repeated slants into triple or quadruple coverage to his tape, along with never freezing the safety and staring down his primary receiver.

Possible tryout or free agent. I just don't have him in my top 25 D2 prospects.

Unless Devontae Jackson runs a sub 4.4 I just don't see it. He's < 180lbs at a time when even a small RB is 200lbs. Trindon Holliday had near world class speed. Darren Sproles is bigger.

I am surprised OL Quentin Stanford fell off the list, although he played on one ankle second half of the season.
