Not shocked MSU isn’t number 1 despite being ranked #1 in D2. But I know Duluth’s sos will drop after this week.

Duluth and MSU were identical in numbers. So coin flip on that. 7-9 is where I'm sensing human interaction.

Quick reactions..CSUP has been moved up due to a very high SOS (.621), UMD is a statistical match to Mankato and their remaining opp have 3 wins..total. So I'm unsure why they are ranked 1 when that'll have to switch in coming weeks. CWU has a low SOS..but Commerce has 2 losses..and SCSU has a better SOS and in-region WP.....so....those spots seem like they'll be up and down over the next few weeks.

UMD could fall to 3 or 4 by the time the season ends....due to a dropping SOS. Keep in mind folks, this is a snapshot in time.

Yes....exactly. "Commerce is the defending champs....bump em!" HAHA.

That said, this should all work itself out....I just don't think this year is nearly as complicated as years past.

CSUP's remaining SOS is going to hurt them, it's probably very close to what UMD has remaining actually. Mines has a fairly decent SOS left so they should be pretty set if they win out, small chance they get to #2 I'd guess.

My quick thoughts to the final rankings....if Tarleton beats MW State....and everything else goes as figured.
1-Mankato (clear #1 at that point)
    2-Mines
3-Duluth (will have 1 more win than Tarleton)
    4-Tarleton (unbeaten)
    5-CSUP
    6-Central Wash
    7-Commerce

3 and 4 are a toss-up on what the committee wants to put more emphasis on. This would also allow for no conference foes playing in R1.

Does MSU-Mankato (forgot there’s two MSU’s in this region) remaining SOS get them bumped to #1?

No, CWU will jump them for #1 again.

Mankato's remaining Opp have 10 wins....Duluth..3. Kato will be a solid #1 when the season ends, unless they get upset by USF.

Duluth will not be in the picture for number 1 after the next 3 games. Combined record of 3-24.

I was just bringing up the bad memory from last year when Mankato randomly fell to #2 in the last rankings.

Hey now we still have to play Wayne St. and upper Iowa! ;) Last year WSC was tied with us in the 3rd quarter and UlU is wildly unpredictable.

    HA!

I think that was maybe a way for the committee to say "play OOC games".

I miss the days the RMAC had 2 OOC games available. Guess I should be happy we get 1 now.

I wish WSC was wildly unpredictable.
