Default Minnesota St. @ Bemidji St.

Hopefully the Mavs take care of business in which will be the toughest remaining they’ll face this year. If the Mavs can limit the beavers rushing attack then I like them in this one! A win will put them In a good position to get the number #1 ranking in the first regional rankings and pretty much clinch them a playoff spot.

I'll be there. If Coach or Millsy are there- or other Beaver fans that I don't know about, be sure to look me up.

Laker: I am 50-50 with the honey-do list at the forefront. Would be great to see you at our stadium. We'll see...

Dangerous talk. While yes they have the best record of remaining teams I'll be holding my breath each week especially against USF.
Bemidji is a more than able team to knock us down from the ranks of unbeaten. Hope the Maverick defense takes the next step and hope Ryan Schlicte is ready to go. We are going to need some passing game this week.

Coach: I've met your wife and was very impressed. You are a wise man and lucky man to keep her on your good side. Hopefully we can meet up!

Not sure of the weather conditions in northern MN today; if unfavorable the Mavs will need to rely more than usual on the ground game and of course the O-line.

I will not be there. We billet a kid on our local junior hockey team and he has a game tonight.

Stupid feed! Of course it freezes as Zylstra catches another touchdown......

I wandered throughout the Mankato section both first and second periods to find Laker but was unsuccessful. I had my traditional red/black Paul Bunyan hat on but it wasn't enough. I was dressed for it except didn't like the 20 mph wind chill. So I will finish this off at home. I saw a couple very hard hits by the Mavs (quite legal by the way). They might be evidence for the anti-football crowd. I thought the MSU running back (Nate Gunn) ran strong and hard. Hopefully, we will find a way to get back into this. GO BEAVERS!!!

Although unlikely for southern MN viewers, the BSU TV station on 519, does a nice job, if your internet feed is lousy.

3 TD's in just a matter of 1:26 minutes shows a perfect example of why this Maverick offense can be very deadly...

Mavs playing well today, and on their way to their 8th win (halfway through the 4th qtr). 47-13.
Casey B. another excellent game place kicking.

Definitely. I believe he had around 180 yards rushing today.

Darn it Coach, I'm sorry that I missed you. I was in my gold Mav cap but with all the extra clothing on and my hood up I was probably hard to spot.

Zylstra gets my vote for POY. Today he had a great block for Arnold on his 75 yard TD catch. I told him that after the game and he said thanks for noticing. I said the same thing to Arnold and he said it was a great block as he somehow stayed in bounds tiptoeing down the sideline. Shane has tremendous hands but he does a wonderful job of blocking too.

Gunn was running really hard. Mavs played well. Accolades all around.
