Thanks for that info. I wasn't aware. But had we beat Gannon, we would not have been in a position for that to happen.

But hey, we lost the week prior to a Gannon team that finished with a 4-7 record. That's what really cost us a playoff berth and why I'm sweating these next two weeks against Gannon and West Chester.
Kind of what happened to New Haven in 2010 - they won the NE10 that year (they held all tiebreakers) and had an 8-1 record and all they had to do was beat a 1-7 St. Anselm team to get in. It didn't happen, and they missed the playoffs.

    #4, #5, #7 and #8 lost. Hmmm...

My guess is that you will see Hillsdale in, Tiffin fall out, and ODU sneak in as well.

If the committee takes head-to-head seriously (and, as we saw last season, they don't seem to), then Tiffin could slip ahead of ODU because of their 24-23 win over ODU.

Fairmont State...? 9-2 record. Lost two games by 6 and 3 points (9 total). Lost to #1 seed Notre Dame by 3 points. Currently on a 5 game win streak to end the season. During those last 5 wins averaging 50 points on offense and giving up 16 points per game on defense. 4 teams in the top 10 lost their last game.

In theory it is all math to rank 1-7. H2H comes into play if teams end up side by side. If ODU ended up 7 and Tiffin was 8 then the spots would switch. We know there’s an additional human element though that plays into it so anything is possible.

Might be winning, but don't see any of their wins as "good wins"

Tiffin won the head-to-head vs. ODU. That has to count. And in the end, it might.

But ODU did play a challenging schedule. They went out and played Cal, PA and Ashland and beat them. That has to be taken into consideration....beating teams with winning records. That is a little different than Fairmont State going out and playing a 2-8 Stonehill team in OOC and running up points against a terrible West Lib program to try to impress. ODU's losses were to two 9-2 teams. Fairmont State lost at home to a 6-5 Charleston team. ODU beat a 8-3 Findlay team on the road. G-MAC schools went on the road and beat MEC teams that had winning records.....Findlay at UC and ABU at Glenville St. MEC could only muster an Urbana beating an awful Lake Erie team 27-19 at Urbana when comparing the two conferences. G-MAC was better than the MEC this season. G-MAC is better at the top of the conference than the MEC and better in the middle as well. G-MAC should be getting two in; not the MEC.

Margin of victory and margin of defeat aren't criteria.

No one new Stonehill would be bad. It was the first game of the season. They had major injuries and one of their players committed suicide on the field during the season. West Liberty lost to Bloomsburg by 3 points (should have won). Bloom beat Shippensburg by 4 and lost to West Chester by 3. Charleston 3-0 when they beat Fairmont (3-0) early in the season. Charleston became injury plagued as well. Tiffin “lost” on senior day! They knew they had /needed to win. Hillsdale new they needed to win too...and didn’t get it done. Charleston also lost to Findlay by 11. Findlay beat Tiffin by 22. We can go on and on. What have you done for me lately? And how did Fairmont run up points on WeatLiberty. West Liberty battles from start to finish. Two pick 6’s...a punt return for TD by the number 1 punt returner in the country...and rushing for 251 Yards without your starting RB (1,167 rush yards - 10th nationally) playing in the game is running up the score?

Hillsdale lost to a nationally ranked team on the road today. Are you really comparing to that to beating a 3-8 West Liberty team? Come on!!! Oh yes, Fairmont won when they needed....over a team that is so scrappy The end of the day: Hillsdale beat ODU (9-2), Findlay (8-3) and Tiffin (9-2).....teams with quality records. Fairmont has wins over Shepherd at 7-3 (which lost at home to UVA-Wise today) and WV State (6-5). Compare the two! How about that for what have you done for me lately.

Hillsdale should be in. It’s opponents’ winning percentage was 50%. ODU was 46%. Fairmont was 44% and Tiffin was 42%. Depending on what the committee does with New Haven, ODU should be either 6 or 7 and Tiffin should out at 10.

Fairmont has more D2 wins than New Haven. New Haven also lost their last game.

Hillsdale BETTER be in or they will call the NCAA and tell them that are going to change tp NAIA over this snub. Ask the GLIAC what happens when Hillsdale does not get their way. I bet Dean Wormer has called already today to make the threat.

No respect for Ohio Dominican once again. It is a shame that one of the best teams in the region has been left out of the playoffs two years in a row. Shame on the committee. If SOS is so important than ODU should have been in this year.
