These averages should get a little boost with this being the Homecoming season. Then, historically, they nosedive as the weather begins to worsen.

From the looks of it they post on this board more than they actually go to the games. Shameful considering they are the best football program in D2 history

Just imagine if Slippery Rock knew how to run a Victory Formation play? lol

You guys would be on life boats or swimming with Leo.

Well, I will admit that I was walking down the steps at the Financial Aid Office Gridiron at Student Body Field at Seth Grove Stadium when the shotgun snap hit the QB in his sternum.

We are the best fans too.

I bet IUP fans helped boost that Mon Valley average and it will back to 100 people in the stands again...

Cal gets more support from their small student body then IUP does from theirs. Even with more than half the students being commuters which is sad. Majority of IUP students live in Indiana yet you guys can’t bring them to games because they don’t care. I’ve been to Miller for a few games not just Cal ones and your crowd is majority Middle Aged men with your hats from the 90s treating it more like a social event with your buddies then a football game. I think that’s why your team doesn’t recruit as well as they should. From your coach, to the stands, to your uniforms IUP is just boring. You guys would benefit from some rebranding. That’s the truth.

The atmosphere at Cal is just as dead as it is in Indiana.

Must be those 255 fans who fill up Cal's 6,000 seat arena for hoops.

What else is there to do in a one horse town like Kollyfornia? It’s a wonder people stay for the whole game with all the fumes wafting in the air from all of the area meth labs...

I’m sure Indiana is the worst county in PA economically

I'm really impressed with the numbers from SRU attendance... And this is 6K draws against Seton Hill, Mercyhurst, and Kentucky State?!?!?!? What, are they giving away Dr. Evil Bobbleheads? Maybe Bob Nutting and the Pirates contact the brain trust at slimmy to get some butts in seats at PNC Park!

Rock tailgates are fantastic. Nobody else in the PSAC is even close. Students actually tailgate and mingle (unlike the bingo hall vibe at some others). Hint, Indiana.

Ya know, I’m reading these and I’m getting really curious as to what other schools do to attract more students and fans to games. Can someone enlighten me? I’ve always thought Bloom has a good atmosphere but it could be better. What can AD’s do to attract more people to attend? Other than winning a ton of games of course
