It boils down to the young qb and the ability of the NW Oline to protect him. On the other side of the ball, it boils down to Pitt completing 4 to 5 key passes in the right moments.

I'll take our odds on that, with either Bradbury or J-rod, but not Harmon....

I think both squads are still trying to find their identity on offense, so defense and special teams will probably determine the outcome. Pitt State has done a pretty good job getting after the QB and getting turnovers. Also, according to the L-wood broadcast, we have this guy "Wilson" who is all over the field on offense and defense. NW better watch out...

The new and improved Goalpost...it's almost like Wilson is the football or something, because he was in on every big play made by the Gorillas on Saturday...

Wilson only came on strong after Adams inexxplicably quit football in the 2nd quarter.

Adams was a "me-first" cancer and I'm glad he quit.

Pitt hasn't proven very capable of exploiting what NW is bad at on defense. They have faced 2 teams with a similar percieved weakness and had little success taking the top of of either one.

This will have to be a defensive game where Pitt stifles, knocks around, confuses, abuses, and otherwise mistreats that freshman QB.

I think NW will go run heavy against Pitt hoping to break a big run or two since Pitt has been gouged that way a couple of times.

Pitt will have to have a little success running the ball or they have no shot.

The 2 minute drill before the half and the one at the end of regulation were the only times Pitt passed well this weekend.

Toss a coin on this one. Our offense was explosive to start the season and the QB looked poised beyond his age. Now, he's starting to show his age a bit and struggling at times. He'll need to continue growing (still love his skill set). Defensively, we are still tops in the league in scoring D and rush D. Of course, I wouldn't worry about running the ball if I can get the 50yd bomb at will.

Early momentum and ball security will be huge.

What do you say to a Pitt State football player dressed in a nice suit? "

    "Will the defendant please rise."

How do you get a Pitt State grad off your porch?

    Pay him for the pizza.

None, they just stand around and talk about how great the old one was.
