Pace 14, Stonehill 3, 12:12 to halftime with Pace driving into Stonehill territory.

I know there's a lot of football to be played, but wow...

Pace turns an interception into a touchdown, making it 23-3 (missed PAT) with 3:10 to half.

Remember when the score would've been reversed? I give Pace a lot of credit - they've taken some major strides since I started really following D2 football a few years ago.

Bentley 13-10 at the half. Looks like they’re going to slug it out again.

New Haven now up 24-21 late in the third. It’s been back and forth today and New Haven has nearly 200 yards on the ground.

Sturm had Bentley driving but took a big sack on 3rd and 1 near midfield. The 4th and 7 play was 3 yards short and New Haven holds on for a 31-27 win.

I’ll need to go back and find out the last time Pace scored that much...a quick look in the archives suggests the last time they scored over 50 was 10/17/1987 when they got 53 against Trenton State. That is something.

Congratulations to the Pioneers for their fourth straight win at Merrimack. Once again, the offense took a while to get started, but then turned up the jets, and the defense played another solid 4 quarters. Next up; a challenging road game at PSAC East power Shippensburg.

Solid game for Post. Defense held them basically all game till the last quarter, MC scored on a deep pass with 0 seconds left for their last score. Interested to see the game against SHIP next week.

    The Post D is good.

    The Pace O is exciting.

New Haven always plays close games at home.

Assumption is playing at a different level right now.

As we discussed last week, New Haven, Assumption and Post are clearly the best teams in the league. The weekends of October 20th and 27th will start to decide who wins the league as Assumption plays at New Haven and then hosts Post.

Something will have to give with 3 teams being undefeated in league play but we need to wait 20 more days before that happens.
