Default Week 1 The Rest of the World thread

In a promising start to 2018, it's 7:02 and no sign of a feed on the Millersville website.

West Chester started at 6 pm? It's halftime already. They're romping, 34-6.

    3-0 Millersville.

But I'm not keeping this thread going myself. I'm watching the big boys for awhile.

Millersville forces and recovers a Pace fumble and now takes over at their own 40, trailing 13-10 with 11:43 in the third.

A Jimmy Keefe 1 yd TD run makes it 25-20 Gannon, 4:53 left

East Stroud manages a field goal to cut the Ferris lead to a more manageable … oh, wait, Ferris scored again. 41-3 approaching halftime.

Touchdown, Southern Connecticut, aided by a pass interference penalty. 55 seconds left, SC leads 28-25 after completing the 2 pt conversion.

Gannon didn’t look prepare. Defense struggled.
What looked to be Gannon’s Strength heading into the year with their offense - just didn’t look great upfront with costly decision-making. Tough way to start the year for Gannon

Too bad Denny can’t send a message across the scoreboard.

Still, not an unexpected result for East Stroud. At least Ferris called off the dogs in the second half.

    Final: Ferris 49, East Strou-sburg 17

When the 'Ville can't establish any kind of ground game against Pace, that's the sign of ugly things down the line.

I like Bear Shank, a tough kid (hey, he's beaten cancer). But he can't carry a PSAC offense himself.

Any idea of what happened with Dylan and Devon Rabuck? I don't see them anywhere on the ESU roster.

Just when I could barely see straight after driving back to Indiana last night and getting to my house near 2am ... I had the joy of reading this thread to hear the terribly sad news about St. Thugs losing. #tear. Breaks my heart.

Bentley last year vs WCU had 9 points and at least over 200 total yards.

Last night 6 points and 63 total yards.

Let's see if anyone remembers it "This November" when trying to make an argument about the playoffs with a loss to Bentley on their resume.

Yeah, that was quite the whooping by WCU. Bentley has a pre-season all american WR who I think didn’t have a single catch. IUP and WCU both played lights-out defense.
