Everyone has a right to suggest a name. I think people need to give a name to remove and why that person did not earn it though. It is easy to add someone but when you have a limited number of players you can put in a top 20 or on an AA team it is a little different and you have to remove someone.

FBS transfer DTs with size. Those will always get a look. They may not make it but will get looks.

Names I have collected from NFL sources as well as some I have found online and liked from film. I have not seen film on the Southern Arkansas QB yet but I am told he is one I need to peak at as well.

During the last draft one of the NFL.com commentators mentioned a "shifty guy from West Georgia" meaning Devontae Jackson. UWG has returned four OL that started games then they added JUCOs plus a guy who was All-GSC at West Alabama 2 years ago. There are ten college ready bodies on the front line. I like his chances of getting the career rushing record.

He will likely get a chance. I just cut the list off at those I thought were a safe contract, draft pick, or definite tryout. He is so tiny so he must have a huge year and kill it at pro day to definitely get a shot.

Josh has done this for several years and is nationally known for his scouting of small school players.

I was about to say the same thing. I have him as just a junior and I'm not sure what he weighs. He can't still be 250 like he is listed but if he is not near 300 then he won't end up getting much of a look.

Interesting to see Tyree Horton on the list. I had no idea he was even on GVSU's team until I saw this list. He didn't play much in their Thursday opener. Maybe he just doesn't have the system down yet? I would have expected a guy who led his FCS team in tackles to play more.

Now that a few games have passed I can safely say that Bernard McDondle is THE most talented running back in all of D2 right now. The kid is just too quick and has proven to be a great threat on the outside as a runner and receiver. If CSU Pueblo didn't have 3 outstanding backs this year he'd have more yards per carry.

    Couple things:

    1) Unless they’ve seen every back in D2 play, no one can safely say anyone is the best in D2. He’s been great when healthy, but that is a huge assumption on your part.

    2) What does having other good backs have to do with yards per carry? Total rush yards, sure, but if what you are saying is true, that’s the opposite of the norm....typically the more carries a back has, the less ypc.

I am just saying that he has skills a lot of other backs do not have. How many yards did Rocket Ismail have the year he placed 2nd to Ty Detmer in the Heisman voting?

The kid is good no doubt. But with 170 schools out there, there are a number of backs that have his skills. How big that number is is certainly up for debate, but again, you can’t know without having seen a lot of backs play.

Not sure what your point about Ismail is? Because he had the longer NFL career than Detmer? That’s not relevant to our discussion, if so.
