Orangeburg, S.C.—The Claflin University men's basketball program has released its 2018-19 schedule, which includes non-conference opponents from four different NCAA Division II conferences. In all, the Panthers will have six non-conference matchups and 11 home games.

For the first time in three seasons, the Claflin men's basketball team will hit the road to open the season as the Panthers travel to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to face NOVA-Southeastern of the Sunshine State Conference on Friday, Nov. 9. Claflin will then travel to Aiken, S.C. Wednesday, Nov. 14 to take on USC-Aiken, before returning to Tullis Arena for its 2018 home-opener.

The Panthers will host Tuskegee University of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) on Nov. 17, for their annual homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. Claflin, who is in its first season in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), will then open conference play on Monday, Nov. 19, when the Panthers host Saint Augustine's University. That contest will be followed by a home matchup against Limestone College in a non-conference action on Nov. 21 before Claflin goes on the road for seven of its next eight contests.
