Default In case you're interested in UNA's first D1 basketball schedule....

The Lions will be participating in a pre-season tournament in Vegas along with Drake, New Mexico State, San Diego, Washington State, Cal St. Northridge and their new coach, former Alabama coach Mark Gottfried, Northern Colorado, and SUI Edwardsville.

The schedule is far from finished but outside of the A-Sun opponents and Toledo, the big name is the Gonzaga Zags.

Going to be a rough first year but pretty exciting names. Really like the new coach, not easy to come and release guys but had to do it. We had a roster that would not compete in D1, he has changed that roster completely.

Vandy in soccer, JSU in home and away in b-ball. 4 year football contract with JSU is exciting, ready for them to come to Florence again. Has the softball team announced anything yet?
