I'm still a little on the doubtful side. Just my nature I guess. I hope things run the way they are supposed to with no hiccups but that hardly ever happens

The biggest hold up could be the weather. We're in he midst of an El Nino weather pattern. That translates into a wetter summer/fall.

Any idea if the area around the stadium and concourse will be concrete or asphalt? That's one thing I keep thinking about, all the concrete they will have to pour, assuming it's concrete

The stadium renderings display concrete. Concrete is used around the rest of the sports complex. I bet it's concrete. There may be some asphalt directly behind the press box where parking for the luxury suites may be located. Speaking of parking, the next tier of parking, based on giving levels in the Buffalo Club, will be directly across the street east of the cafeteria on the activities center parking lot. That is right across the street from the stadium. Parking spots will be divided up based on Buffalo Club pecking order. Another good reason to be a Buffalo Club member.

NOOOOOO? Weather can not be a factor, it's Canyon! You only get what, 3 inches every 6 years?

Amarillo/Canyon is at 5 inches so far this year. About an inch above normal. Next week looks a lot better. Dry and in the 70's and 80's.

I'm ready for a drought. The mosquitos that will be hatching are going to be nuclear powered.

We got enough rain for the farmers to make a great crop. All the rivers in Central Texas and Hill Country are going to be fantastic for summer fun. It's time to turn off the faucet until September or October. That will get us through hurricane season too.

More progress has been made since these photos. Stands under press box are going up. The top level looks to be completed soon.

It looks like they are on schedule. I was worried for second. I already purchased my ticket. I can’t wait for September 7th.

WOW!!!! That stadium is actually going to be 5 times better than I thought. The renderings did not do the stadium justice. I am saying that because I watched two stadiums built in the past 9 years and based on what i see in the current construction pics, the stadium quality and layout is fantastic.

Can't wait to see the final product.
