Was 8 last year so I'm assuming it should be the same.

It was 7 teams in the South regional last year. DSU was the 1 seed and got a bye. Honestly, it should be 8. Lots of good teams that would fill a #8 seed nicely.

I don't think you need teams from each conference in essentially a two conference region.......says the guy whose team snuck in as the 4th GSC football team.

    James Harrison would not approve.

Ooops, guess I should have looked at every region instead of assuming that they were all the same. Looks like the regions varied from 6 to 8.

UWA has 62 athletes graduating this Spring.

    UWG has like 15.

Tell me what we're being successful in, UWG admin.

That's a conference stat I would like to see. Number of student athletes graduating per semester per sport for each school.

    Good Luck with that.
I don't think anyone at GSC starts back to work until late August.
Web page still showing Malcolm Butler getting ready for Super Bowl, and updated "Signing Day" info from months ago, and other relevant updates.

Paul Turner, William Sides, and the Croatian kid have all left the program.

    Happy Trails.

Off season workouts should be starting right now. Senior leaders should be getting all available team mates in the gym. About three months until camp. Our O line needs to get stronger and bond as a group. Not sure who’s taking the leadership role of the O line, but they can’t wsit until a couple weeks before camp starts, which is usually what happens.

I would guess most everyone has gone home for the first summer session to relax and earn money. There will be more in July.

New broom sweeps clean. UNA lost four guys.

And that’s usually the case. Physically they have been resting for the last 5 months, at least try to get as many guys in your group as you can to stay near the field house. Off season workouts are so important. You want to be loose by camp, not stiff and sore, so lift now.

UWG finished TENTH of 13 in the GSC All-Sports Trophy Standings

    TENTH.

    11th doesn't have a football team.
    12th doesn't have a football team.
13th was Shorter - who surprisingly is worse off in Admin than we are.

We made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA Football Playoffs.

    TENTH.

    Scorecards, Marrero?

    Here's your scorecard.

So if you throw out football we might be DFL.

I'm fairly confident that without football, we would not only be last in the GSC, but likely the bottom 10% of the Learfield Cup (I think?).

RG might rub some people the wrong way, but he is a very sharp guy. He predicted this would happen and he was spot on. I was so looking for some new leadership once his son finished playing. Coach Hall took all he could and I don't blame him or any of his staff for leaving. That political machine is running on all cylinders!
