Thread: Televised semi-finals?

    Default Televised semi-finals?

The powers to be in D2 need to make a serious push to get these games(semi-finals) televised on a 'main stream' station so we're not forced to watch on the 'net.
Thank goodness the teams are now re-seeded because the NC has been this (upcoming) weekend in the past.
Regardless, get this done. It is a serious flaw.

I’m sure if you make a million dollar donation to this D2 forum, Brandon will find a way to get it done. Until then, the powers that be is the NCAA and they don’t really give a rats ass about D2.

If ESPN thought it would be a money maker the games would be televised. Until then I'm just thankful for the higher quality streaming.

GVSU has home football games streamed on ESPN, so if programs can create demand for their sports the media presence will follow.

Edit: I just searched the WatchESPN App and GVSU has a lot of basketball games streaming as well.

Hey, Brandon also said if he was DII Commissioner, he would get the Frontier Conference to all move up and GNAC would have its football league healthy...

    And I believe he would.

i saw collegiate cornhole championships the other day on ESPN2, I don't think they are hurting for content.

Both games are being streamed on ESPN3.

West Florida vs. IUP at 12:00pm EST and Harding vs. Texas A&M Commerce at 3:30pm EST.

Glad that they are on at different times so people can see most of both.
