    Default Quarterfinal Playoff Attendance

Attendance from this past weekends quarterfinal games:

    Assumption @ Indiana (PA) - 1985
    West Florida @ West Alabama - 6105
    Harding @ Ferris State - 2250
    Texas A&M Commerce @ Minnesota State - 2803

    Total quarterfinal attendance: 13,143
    Average quarterfinal attendance: 3,286
    Average 2nd round attendance: 3102
    Average 1st round attendance: 2430

It will be interesting to see what size of crowds the semi-final games draw with TAMC and IUP getting the host bids. My prediction is that TAMC will draw a pretty good sized crowd, especially with Harding being located within reasonable distance. While i see IUP to keep their average on track and draw something just north of 2,000.

Commerce will likely have between 10,000 - 11,000. And it will be loud.

i sure hope so, with the game being televised that would be great exposure for D2 football. Not to mention that prospects will love to see a full stadium, definite recruiting boost if they do draw 10-11k

There sure seemed to be more than that again last weekend. But I'm not the one counting!

Some venues scan your ticket upon entry, so they have a solid count. Others just look at your ticket. I've often thought that they just estimate, or use number of tickets sold. Or maybe a combination....

They barely check tickets at IUP. We believe our numbers are lower than actual butts in the seats.

I don’t know why attendance numbers are an issue.

Again, I'm with Laker. The home side was packed and visitors was 3/4 full by the second half.

    Great atmosphere.

8.500 plus sold officially so far in Commerce. Expecting standing room crowd. Fire Marshall said "go for it."

It is helpful that Harding is closer to Commerce than it was to most of the GSC opponents and some of their GAC opponents.
