    Short answer... Regional seed mean nothing for the final four. The seeding metrics are redone. A 4 seed in one region could possibly be a 2 seed in another, since only teams in a single region are seeded against teams in same region. For the final four, the PO games are added (usually??) and then the numbers of the four remaining teams are compared (not the seedings, but the metrics)... if the comm. so chooses.

    I think travel distances accounted for this year more than anything, commerce and harding are busing distance.

    In addition to what was already said, I think a valid argument can be made that while both West Florida and Harding both have made impressive runs to the national semifinals, Harding has beaten a somewhat better trio of opponents than West Florida has, giving Harding a slight edge for the #3 spot.

    I think you are exactly right. They only have 1 team flying instead of 2 teams flying.
