Default GAC Power Rankings Week 3

    1. ATU (3-0)- Still rolling strong
    2. SEOSU (3-0)- big road win vs. strong OBU offense, have gone from sleeper to front runner quickly
    3. SAU (2-1)- Getting into a good groove after 1st week upset, gonna be tough to beat from here on
    4. OBU (2-1)- Tough loss, still lots of talent, O will win them lots of games
    5. UAM (2-1)- Good start, should be 3-0, that loss to SWOSU hurts right now, could make a statement Saturday
    6. NWOSU (1-2)- Impressive win over HSU, tough game this week with SAU
    7. SNU (2-1)- Gotta be happy for them, huge program-changing win vs HU
    8. HSU (1-2)- Not enough difference makers, absolute must-win @ SWOSU this weekend or wheels may come off
    9. SWOSU (1-2)- Should be feeling good with a reeling HSU coming to town, chance to get to .500
    10. ECU (1-2)- Program has really hit the skids since the start of last season, somewhat baffling
    11. HU (0-3)- Can’t believe this team is 0-3, loss to SNU is unacceptable if you’re HU
    12. OKBU (0-3)- Gonna get a pissed off HU team this weekend, not sure they win that one

ECU's defense is giving up just over 500 yards a game.... You read that right, 500 yds.... How does that happen??? Also, have not had consistency at the QB position the last couple of years due to injury. That will hurt any team.

If something doesn't happen quick, the new university president might make some changes.

QB play ebbs and flows over the years (just ask HSU) but the fact that the defense has dropped off that substantially is surprising to me. ECU's hallmark used to be that defensive front.

I hear ya on the QB remarks, and you're exactly right on the defense. Something has to change.
