    Default Quarterfinal discussion (3/11)

Not a lot of fans across the benches for MSUM/East Central. Looks a little better behind them.

MSUM had built a solid lead but ECU fighting back. Dragons are hitting their 3s.

BearcatMediaStudent: Are you involved with the broadcast/live stream? If so, can you possibly see if the tech people can figure out a way to get the time showing on the on-screen scoreboard? That would be fantastic.

Looked like a pretty weak foul call right at the end of the half. Looked like there were 2 more within 2 second before it that were much worse and weren't called.

Good, competitive first half of action.

Moorhead up 2 on East Central at the half after Addison Park gets a last second putback with a bonus phantom foul called to give him the and-1.

    Yes, that would be great.

What took so long right before the half? The basket was certainly good- were they trying to decide who to call the foul on?

About what I expected this game to be like. Both of these teams can really score. Kretchman has been great for the dragons with 16pts in the first half. I would like to see more of a 2 man game between Lien and Kretchman in the second half.

I really enjoy watching Braxton Reeves play. Doesn't force, and just let's the game come to him and can really shoot it.

This one is coming down to the wire.

Commented on the other thread too, but they were determining how much time to put on the clock after Park's made basket.

Yeah, that was atrocious. At least the guy got to review his mistake shortly afterwards. Some times we have to come face to face with our shortcomings before we're able to rise above them.

Which one of the NSIC refs is working this one?

Younger guy with dark hair, I want to say Jacob Welch but that could be wrong.

    Fun game so far

ECU is just too big and athletic. Braxton Reeves is a walking bucket, fun to watch

Unfortunately I'm not, but I can suggest it to someone.

Not much defense, but a very entertaining game.

NSIC Player of the Year Aaron Lein isn't playing well, Ayob isn't either. Kretchman playing great but he needs help.

He wasnt everyones player of the year.

East Central is much more active on the glass than Moorhead and its starting to add up.

Braxton Reeves picking up his 4th foul with 10 to go was a killer. Moorhead has made a run accordingly. The problem with the Dragons is that they only need 3 possessions to completely decimate a lead and turn the game completely around.
