    Default Drury Women

Drury Coach Molly Miller has 76 wins so far in her first three seasons as a head coach. She has won 25 this year despite playing one of the toughest non conference schedules. The loss of a first team all GLVC player to injury before the season started, starting two freshmen and playing five freshmen significant minutes makes this seasons record even more impressive.http://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-...postseason-run

It's impressive what Coach Miller has done/maintained with the DU program. It's not easy getting a program to a point of being relevant for 2-3 years, but to do so for as long as DU has -- and with Coach Miller, a former player, continuing that tradition -- deserves a hat-tip.

Congratulations to the Drury Women for winning the GLVC Championship and improving to 28-3. This was accomplished with a roster consisting of 3 seniors, 1 junior, and 5 freshmen.

Pretty impressive mark. Ashland's Robyn Fralick is 62-2 in her first 2 years at Ashland. Looking forward to a great regional tournament this weekend.

62-2 is also very impressive. One of those 2 losses was to Drury by 26 points on Ashland's home floor in the regional. I don't know what to expect in this years regional from a very young Drury squad.

Congratulations to Ashland for winning the Midwest Regional. They were the better team. Key stat: 31 free throws to 5 Ashlands favor.
