I'm still waiting to hear back from two people from last year's league. I'll give them til Friday/Saturday night and then Saturday or Sunday I'll probably move on and post in the main forum to find a couple replacements.

The others have not responded, so they are out as of right now. I'd be looking for one more only if that is the case and favoritism would be shown to those who have more posts so I know with confidence that they will be around all season long. No offence to someone like you, PumaPower, but if others with more posts want to join, they will get first crack because I know they have been around longer and won't disappear in the middle of the season.

Well this isn't looking great. No responses to my thread posts in the general section, the message I sent to someone in this thread hasn't been answered in five days which doesn't bode well for when the season starts. Stuck at 7 for now.

If only 7 are committed, wouldn't it be easier to play with 7 than beg someone to play who probably won't show up after a few weeks.

I'm so excited. This sounds like a lot of fun. And with only a 10ish man roster it doesn't seem like it'll be too time consuming.

Its as time consuming as you want it to be. The fun/frustrating part about FF in D2 is the lack of information. I've had times where I had a RB who was putting up tons of numbers - but then the next week he doesn't play. But there was no way of knowing that because there wasn't any news anywhere that he got hurt and wasn't going to play. But overall, it really makes you learn more about D2 because of your research. Or you could just pick some guys to play and hope for the best - I've honestly had better luck with that! But that is just me :D

Of course being a Bearcat fan...you could just pick your team...roll with it...and be in pretty good shape. Of course I could do the same for my Mules as DEFENSE does not come in to play in this format.

I do enjoy this FF the most...better than NFL...makes you do your homework. I too have been screwed by the lack of info on someone not playing for a reason that is not publicized.

Well I didn't wanna have to deal with bye weeks, especially come the playoffs. It would definitely throw off the final "regular season" week where #1 faces #2, #3 vs #4, etc. unless I'm just taking the 7th place team and dropping them after 7 weeks which I don't really wanna do.
