One last lament about the Reddies. Finished 6-2 in division two with a 3-point loss to Delta State and quality wins over ECU and OBU. Only playing eight D2 games did not give us a realistic chance to get in the playoffs. And don't get me started about the percentage point GAC championship!

Could be worse. We were 9-1 and didn't even get close to the top of SR4.

First of all, I do not deny OBU the championship because they played by the rules for this year and won it. However, the problem with our conference this year is because of the agreement with the Gulf South Conference with the schools that left to join the GAC, we had to play mandatory games with GSC opponents this year. That, along with contracts that had already been sealed for non-conference games, the GAC schools did not all play the same number of conference games. So OBU played more conference games than Henderson and even though we both had one conference loss and we won head-to-head they had a higher winning percentage in conference games and won the championship. Two of our non-conference losses were to FCS opponents.
