    Re: Stadium renovations

I don't know if there are plans for stadium renovations or not, but I took a peak inside MSSU's new field house when I was there last month and it is very impressive.

    Re: LR needs a coach

IMO, Lenoir-Rhyne wins big in this exchange. Kellar is a really good coach. There will probably be some growing pains while he installs his system but looking at the long term, it's an excellent...

Re: Best defense in D2 history?

It’s hard to compare across different eras since the game does change as years go by. Here is one that precedes Division II, but the team is a current D2 member.

    Re: LR needs a coach

It's also worth noting that before Kellar returned to California, he spent two seasons as head coach at Concord. The year before he arrived, they were 0-11. In his two seasons, they were 6-5 and 8-3.
  9. Re: Non Northwest/Shepherd Gear Spotted at the NC

West Chester was represented. And there was Bloomsburg gear present, albeit, under a few other layers.

It was an awesome weekend and totally worth the time to go visit those schools. I was hoping to get to Central Missouri too but didn't make it...but I will back :)

    Re: Congrats to the Rams

Not a great day for the Rams on the offensive side of the ball, but it sure was big for D2 to set a championship game attendance record of 16,181. It was fantastic to see Sporting Park completely...

    Re: George Mihalik Retires

Indeed. I would throw in John Luckhardt too, and even though they were not as successful as head coaches, Jay Foster and Scott Browning were PSAC lifers. It's sad to see them go. But who knows. Maybe...

Re: Browning out as Head Coach at Edinboro

Edinboro may want to expedite their hiring process so they can secure the man they want asap. Anyone interested in this job is also going to be very interested in the Slippery Rock opening.

I agree, but 2015 isn't far behind. What a great way to end his career, and even better that he walks away after setting up the program for continued success.
