    Re: Let's Kill Some Time

I don't like the aqua turf, but its much better than some others that are non-traditional colors. I've seen the blue turf at New Haven with my own eyes and on sunny day, it's really harsh. I don't...

    Re: Let's Kill Some Time

I'd have to think about that, but here are all the places I've been to following D2 football. Many were for games, some just for visiting the stadium.

    Re: Let's Kill Some Time

I would agree that the campus lacks some charm because it's totally flat (it's only 10 miles from the ocean) and it's also relatively new, but the athletic facilities are first rate. I've been to...

    Re: Trevor Harris Update

That game was only a couple of weeks after Harris suffered a knee injury that seemed likely to end his season. He was back in time for the ESU playoff game, which I was at. He was playing with some...

  7. Re: New Playing Surface for LIU Post Stadium

In reality, I usually did enjoy trips to Cheyney. You can usually go there knowing that your team will have a good day and its an opportunity to see reserves get a lot of playing time. And as you...

I'm pretty sure this is the first time this has ever been said on this message board.

    Re: PSAC Spring Games

Look at how relevant Gannon and Mercyhurst have become in all sports since joining the PSAC. I can't see them wanting to start over in another league. They are right where they belong.

    Re: Bloom WBB Coach needed

I've been anticipating this for five years. Cleary did an outstanding job building that program and he is a top notch guy. I'm really happy for him. Colgate is a beautiful place too.

Re: Patrick Murphy Out at St. A's

I agree. The program made a lot of progress under his direction. Before he got there, St. Anselm was usually a free win, even for the bottom half of the Northeast 10. He made them relevant.

Re: Patrick Murphy Out at St. A's

This appears to be true. St. A's website shows the head coach as TBA and I've read some Tweets indicating Murphy is no longer the coach. If this is simply about performance and nothing more, it's a...

    Re: LR needs a coach

It's also worth noting that before Kellar returned to California, he spent two seasons as head coach at Concord. The year before he arrived, they were 0-11. In his two seasons, they were 6-5 and 8-3.
