If anyone needs an OC or QB Coach

    Sadly, Jimmy Terwilliger is available.

It's a tough break for him but you have to admire his...

    Re: Pro Day in Bloomsburg

He's really only one year older than most senior athletes that just exhausted their eligibility. He was a true freshman on campus in the fall of 2008. Had he been their exclusively for football, he...

Former Lock Haven player and former IUP offensive coordinator, for those that aren't familiar with the name.

Re: Best PSAC Teams in 2014?

Schematically, the offense will look very much the same as it did last year. They are a running team, and have always used multiple backs to get the job done. Quiteh ran for 2,000+ yards last year,...

    Re: Bloomsburg recruiting

Lawrence Elliott to RB and Chad Hoffman to WR are also confirmed by the roster, but I think we already knew about those changes. I liked Elliott's prospects as a receiver, but if the coaches like him...

Re: Best PSAC Teams in 2014?

I think it will be very interesting to see what Ship does at the QB position. I agree that I'm not sure if Lawshe is the the right guy for their system but if not, there has to a place on the field...

Re: IUP Football by the #'s

I'm guessing the coach has to be George Chaump, and I believe his most recent high school was Central Dauphin East. There is only one CD East player on the roster so I'll say Ethan Cooper.

Re: Best PSAC Teams in 2014?

I'm working on a blog for spring ball and should have it ready by this weekend. It won't be going too deep into what I'm thinking for the 2014 season, but I got some interesting comments from coaches...

    Re: Cheyney HC Lockard Resigns!

Inches would be more accurate, and it's not 10. Those pits are almost part of the end zone. There is concrete directly behind the pylons, and honestly, I think that end zone might be less than a full...

    Re: Cheyney HC Lockard Resigns!

This is just the cycle at Cheyney. They will always be able to find coaches with decent credentials that will take on the challenge because it is an opportunity to be a head coach. Unfortunately, the...

    Re: Kutztown hires Clements

He's a proven head coach, proven winner and should already have relationships with local high schools for recruiting. Seems like a good fit.

    Re: 2014 Non-Conference Schedule Thread

I think Portland was still a D2 program at that time, but they were a playoff team almost every year so it's still very impressive that Boro flew all the way to Oregon and thumped 'em.

    Re: Semi-Official NE-10 Composite Schedule

How is the stadium project looking? I haven't seen any photo updates for a couple of months, but this harsh winter must have been a bit of a setback.

    Re: 2014 Non-Conference Schedule Thread

I agree. It's not a bad pick up for Clarion. A couple of years ago, they probably could have had a very good chance of winning, but St. Francis has made some bid strides over the last two seasons...

    Re: 2014 Non-Conference Schedule Thread

I'd heard a while ago that the series was being renewed but had not heard anything about dates, times and locations. 2012 was at Stonehill, 2013 was at Bloom so I would the Huskies will be traveling...

    Re: Recruiting 2014

What a steal for The Rock. Tyree committed to Bowling Green last year, but his offer was withdrawn when the new coaching staff came in. It's a shame for him, but great for SRU!

    Re: Bloomsburg recruiting

I think the QB may have to do more this coming year than he did the last two, but let's not forget that Bloomsburg is 20-4 with Tim Kelly as quarterback.

FYI, the best place to keep track of all the signing day activity is Twitter. Ship, Gannon, IUP, Cal, Millersville and some others are posting updates as the letters come in.

He would definitely be the tallest since Brittingham, who was over 6 feet. I had heard during last season that they thought Elliott would switch to RB in 2014. You definitely have to like the speed...
