I don't know much about Cheney's FB. I do trust you though. Is there any chance for some good things from FB? I'd love for my nephew to see something good from his RSJR year.

Week 4 - Divisional Play Begins in the PSAC

by Chuck Bitner on 09-21-2016 at 09:19 PM
After three weeks, the fun really begins this Saturday as we kickoff the seven week gauntlet of divisional play. There are a handful of really interesting match ups this week, including three games that match unbeaten teams against each other. It's going to be a busy day with early games kicking off at noon and the evening games won't wrap until around 9pm. Enjoy!

#12 IUP (2-0, 0-0) at Edinboro (3-0, 0-0) 12:00

Well, who expected this to be a battle of unbeatens? We

by Chuck Bitner on 09-18-2016 at 10:14 AM
If you’ve been following the PSAC blog for a couple of years, you know how this goes. If this is your first season, let me briefly summarize. We have a total of 16 teams in the conference, which makes for a nice round number to divide into quarters. Every three weeks (roughly a quarter of the season) I stack rank the teams and take a look at how they’ve done so far and look forward to what’s ahead.

So far, we’ve had one week of out of conference action and two rounds of East versus

PSAC East Looking for Better Results in Week 3

by Chuck Bitner on 09-15-2016 at 09:29 AM
Week three in the PSAC football schedule brings us the last round of East-West crossover play until the final week of the season. The West throttled the East in the first round of crossovers with a 7-1 record. I'm predicting a few more East victories this weekend, but the balance of power is still on the Western side of the state. Here is the rundown for week 3...

East Stroudsburg (1-1, 0-0) at Mercyhurst (1-1, 0-0) 12:00

I fully expected Mercyhurst to be staring at

West Division Dominates PSAC in Week 2

by Chuck Bitner on 09-11-2016 at 10:37 AM
We have to start out the week two observations with the very obvious truth: The West division totally, completely, thoroughly, dominated the East. Since the West has hosting privileges for the Championship in week 11, all 8 games will be on West campuses. That meant that the first round of crossovers would be hosted by the East schools. All eight games were on East division campuses on Saturday and the home teams earned one victory. One. Bloomsburg had a solid performance and knocked off a more

Week two of the D2 football season brings us the first round of East v. Wet crossover play. This week, all games will be hosted by the East division schools. In the final week of the regular season, all crossover games will be hosted by West division schools. Here is the rundown for the upcoming weekend, with all games on Saturday, September 10.

Edinboro (1-0, 0-0) at Lock Haven (0-1, 0-0) 12:00

Edinboro finally has some momentum to take into game week. The Scots kicked
