I don't know much about Cheney's FB. I do trust you though. Is there any chance for some good things from FB? I'd love for my nephew to see something good from his RSJR year.

Previewing Week 8 in the PSAC

by Chuck Bitner on 10-22-2014 at 10:54 AM
Hi all. I'm sorry if the game previews are a little slimmer than usual, but I have a really busy schedule this week so I want to get this posted now while I can. Also, I'm sorry for the MEC crowd. If I can make some time later this week, I'll post another blog but can't promise it. Remember, we have an early start to the weekend with more Thursday night action.

Edinboro (1-6, 1-5) at Mercyhurst (3-4, 3-3) (Thursday)

Kutztown Renames Stadium in honor of Andre Reed

Kutztown University appropriately renamed the football stadium in honor of the University’s most accomplished athlete. Reed, a native of Allentown, PA, played at Kutztown from 1981-1984 and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 1985 NFL draft with the 86th pick. He went on to have a Pro Football Hall of Fame career in Buffalo,

Thursday Thunder for PSAC and MEC

by Chuck Bitner on 10-15-2014 at 04:22 PM
A pair of Thursday night rivalries kickoff the week 7 schedule for the PSAC and Mountain East Conference. The PSAC has a full slate of very interesting match ups this weekend including the Big House Battle at Michigan Stadium between Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst, and the Coal Bowl between California and IUP. I will have a look at those contests later this week. For now, let’s take a look at the Thursday night action between Gannon and Edinboro, with a bonus preview of the MEC prime time match up

The Four Quarters of the PSAC: 2nd Quarter

by Chuck Bitner on 10-14-2014 at 06:48 PM
As it always does, mid-season got here in a hurry. It seems like just a few days ago that we baked in the summer humidity to see the season openers for our favorite teams and now it won't long until we're dragging out the heavy parkas, gloves and boot warmers. Since we're now past week 6, its time for another quarter run-down of the 16 teams in the PSAC. It's a simple concept...16 teams, 4 quarters = 4 teams per quarter. Let's see where everyone stacks up.

The First Quarter
