This game came to mind for me. The completion to Prall was for 12 yards on 4th and 11, then the TD to Culver was 4th and 10 from the 17, with 22...

National Semi Finals

Concord Mountain Lions (13-0) at Minnesota State Mavericks (13-0)

Super Region 1 Champion Concord travels to Super Region 3 Champion Minnesota State, Mankato in what will be the first meeting between the two teams.

As a somewhat impartial viewer for this math up (Im only standing in for the non-existent MEC Blogger) I tried to write this so that fans of either team can

Concord Prevails in Super Region 1 Instant Classic

by Chuck Bitner on 12-07-2014 at 08:41 AM
Sometimes all that really needs to be said is wow, what a game. Bloomsburg and Concord battled for a full 60 minutes through come-and-go rain showers at Callaghan Stadium on Saturday in a game that will be remembered in Athens for years to come. After talking with several players on both sides, it was pretty apparent to me that nobody had anything left to give which is how it should be. It was a tough, physical and emotional football game for both teams. One that came down to the last play.

Super Region 1 Finals

#1 Concord Mountain Lions (12-0) v. #2 Bloomsburg Huskies (11-1)

Last week I created the hashtag #PackCallaghan to compliment #FillRedman, which was being used by Bloomsburg. Some of Concord's followers picked it up so keep #PackCallaghan going for another week! For the Bloom faithful, tweet this week with the hashtag #InvadeAthens (I made that one up too, but we need something

Concord shoots down West Chester 51-36

In the preview blog for this game, we talked about the potency of each offense and made it pretty evident that neither team had faced an offensive unit as good as the one they would see in this game. I was right about that, but very wrong in predicting that this would be a relatively low scoring game.

The offenses for Concord and West Chester combined for 1,310 yards, with the Golden Rams holding a slight edge, 691 to 619. There

Super Region 1 Second Round

With the first round wrapped up, were down to four teams in each region and conveniently, in SR1, the four teams remaining are the top four seeds in the bracket. Both of the higher seeds won at home last Saturday afternoon. Will it happen again this week? Lets see.

#1 Concord Mountain Lions (11-0) v. #4 West Chester Golden Rams (11-1)
