  1. The Winners Keep Winning in the MEC's Week 7

UVA-Wise earns their fourth consecutive win. Fairmont State is 7-0 for the first time since their 1967 NAIA Championship run. And while Shepherd continues to be Shepherd, they managed to set a few new records along the way. It's possible the Fairmont State @ Shepherd game in the second-to-last week decides the conference champion and chance ...

  4. Halfway Done in the MEC - Week 6

We're halfway through the 2016 season and we have a little bit of everything going on. Two teams (Fairmont State and Shepherd) remain undefeated and both look capable of winning out. But each team has five opponents remaining who would love nothing more than to destroy their perfect record. We have a couple of teams on a three-game win streak including the conference's Cinderella Story, UVA-Wise (West Liberty is the other). It will be interesting to see just how predictable the season plays ...
