    Following Week 4’s games, every MEC team has a win to their credit and two of the four undefeated teams suffered losses. The two unbeaten teams in the conference—Fairmont State and Shepherd—meet up in the second-to-last week which is late enough in the season that their November 5th contest could decide the conference champion.   4. MEC Week 3 Review - Start of Separation

    Week 3 Recap

    Three weeks in and the teams begin to separate themselves and establish a hierarchy. Four teams remain undefeated (Fairmont St, Glenville St, Notre Dame, Shepherd) while the remaining seven teams in the conference have at least two losses. But there remains a lot of football to be played and the top teams may beat each other up enough to muddy the waters and bring others back into the mix.

  5. MEC Week 3, Saturday's Schedule

    First, I have to begin by wishing West Liberty's quarterback, Dakota Conwell, a speedy recovery following his injury in Thursday night's game against the Fairmont State Falcons. He just drove the offense down inside the Falcons' 10-yard line when his helmet came off of his head.
