    Week five was another thrilling weekend of football action in the SAC, highlighted by an overtime win to keep Carson-Newman’s title hopes alive, a dramatic special teams play to win the game for Florida Tech in their first ever trip to Wingate, a shutout for Newberry, a fourth straight win for Lenoir-Ryne and a shootout win for Mars Hill.
