  2. Gulf South Conference: Semis, Awards, & UNA Announces Move

    Even with only one GSC team still playing football, there were several newsworthy events here in Week 14 of the 2016 football season.


    This week had notable announcements of certain awards and honors, namely the AFCA Regional Coach of the Year and All-America Team.

  3. Gulf South Conference: Regional Championship

    Its that time of the season when the two survivors of Super Region 2 face off for the opportunity to represent the region in the national semi-finals. This years game will feature a rematch from a regular season contest, which often happens in this region. We have also recently learned who will represent the conference in Hill Trophy finalist voting.

  4. Gulf South Conference: SR2 Round 1

    It was a good final weekend of GSC action as all games went as most expected including wins for North Alabama, Florida Tech, Valdosta State, West Alabama, and West Georgia. Congratulations to all teams, players (especially seniors), and coaches on another great year of Gulf South Conference football action.

  5. Gulf South Conference: A Historic Season

    The 2016 edition of Gulf South Conference football is coming to a close in Week 11. While a few GSC teams will continue into the post-season, its certainly a pleasure to witness the historical nature of this regular season.

    There have been numerous school and conference records set this year by almost every team. The season has produced an unprecedented fourth-consecutive conference champion as the North Alabama Lions secured the outright GSC title this past weekend.
