    In three of the four Super Regions, the #7 seed returned home as victors following an on-the-road upset. Super Region 1 was one of those three regions; in this one the University of Findlay Oilers defeated the Shepherd Rams 29-17 on a dreary Saturday afternoon in Shepherdstown, WV.

  4. MEC Week 10 - Anticipation Builds as the Season Winds Down

    Shepherd has a chance to win sole possession of first place in the MEC. Notre Dame has a chance to make the playoffs if they win their final two games. UVA-Wise is looking to match last year's 6 wins. WV State has a chance to finish 7-4 after a three-win season last year. Fairmont Stat can still finish 8-3 despite their early struggles. With the Regional Rankings released, fans will keep a watchful eye on the weekend's scoreboard as they anticpate movement in the Regional Rankings.
  5. Winding Down the MEC in Week 9

    The first Regional Rankings were released on Monday. The Mountain East Conference may only have one representative in the playoffs following Notre Dame's unexpected loss to WV Wesleyan. The Falcons aren't completely out of it just yet. A couple of PSAC teams ahead of them may find themselves on the outside looking in; and Notre Dame has a season finale at Indianapolis.
