  1. Week 10 and the Ever-Changing Playoff Picture

After finally getting all the games right for the first time this season in Week 8, Week 9 roughed me up a bit, as I went 3-3 for the second time this year. Once again, both the Hornets and Lopers proved me wrong…which is a very good thing for the Hornets and a not so good thing for the Lopers. Also good for the Hornets this week was the news that they jumped UMD in this week’s Regional Rankings, moving up from fifth to fourth. Joining them and the Bearcats this week in the top seven of the ...
  2. GLIAC 2016 - Week 10 Pick'Em

Two weeks to go, Gang. Looks like the weather is going to be great again...playing with house money at this point, folks. Get out and see a game!

Will post some thoughts next week on the playoffs. Again, still way too much that can happen and there likely still will be next week. BUT, with only one game to go it makes it a little easier to give some semi-legit "if-then" statements.

The conference follows the NFL mentality of scheduling rivals for the last regular season game as a way to keep interest high. Over the last three seasons, this setup has paid dividends. The CIAA South was the division that hosted a de facto division championship game on week 10 the last two years. This year, the focus shifts to the ultra-competitive North. Here is me interviewing myself on what’s important: ...
  5. PSAC Set For Final Round of Divisional Games

The second round of regional rankings was released this past Monday and, as expected, there wasn’t much change from the previous week. The top seven teams won, leading to only a few minor changes in the bottom of the order and making it rather easy to predict the top 10. My rankings mirrored those released by the NCAA on Monday afternoon. In case you missed it last Sunday, below is how I recapped the weekend for the contenders and how I projected the rankings.
