  1. LSC Week 11

By the time you read this, the funeral for little Charlotte will have taken place. I have never had children or experienced the loss of children so I cannot truly know how Joe and Stephanie feel. I think anything that I could possibly say to them would be a feeble attempt at consoling them. I just hope they know that we all care about them.

Memorials can be made in Charlotte's name to Cook Children's Hospital in Ft Worth or the Ronald McDonald House of Ft Worth.

  2. Fairmont and Shepherd are In! Notre Dame Fights for a Chance. MEC - Week 11

This is it. The regular season draws to a close when the sun sets on Saturday. Some teams will move on, most will not. Many players look forward to next season, others say goodbye as their collegiate careers end. So many games take center stage as it's not just whether a team wins or loses, but how the other teams do that affect the Regional Rankings.

  3. SAC Column - Week 11

Don't mistake this week's column as a Friday News Dump. Although I do admit it might have a slight political spin to it.

Rival is the name of the game this Saturday. Election Day certainly showcased rivalry from the state and national level, but these final SAC match ups are just as adversarial and some as old as the institutions themselves. Catawba's tussle with Lenoir-Rhyne dates back to 1907 while Carson-Newman's filibuster against Tusculum began in 1904. Only 50 miles and one hour ...

  4. Rivalry Week and the Final Push to the Postseason

Its that time of yearRivalry Week! Im glad the MIAA moved this back to the end of the season this year, as it makes an exciting final week of the season even more so. The playoffs are less than two weeks away, and while the Regional Rankings somewhat surprisingly did not change in the top seven this past week, the Rivalry Week games could absolutely cause some shakeups among the three MIAA teams that reside in that top seven. Before we get to the games this week and another look at the playoffs, ...

  5. GLIAC 2016 - Week 11 Pick'Em

Almost a perfect week last week. Honest to God, once I realized that I had misread the schedule (yeah, bright guy over here) and realized Wayne was AT Ohio Dominican and not at home I logged in to change my pick. Nitzche's "the first reaction is usually the correct one" hit me, and I chickened-out on executing the alteration. Oh well. Thanks again to svsu for running the game for us this year. Far to kind of you!

Not like this week is super easy. Why start with simple picks ...
