  2. NCAA Division II National Semifinal: #2 Minnesota State VS. #3 Ferris State

    Four undefeated teams remain in the NCAA Division II Playoffs setting up a fantastic weekend of two National Semifinal contests.

    After the re-seeding, on one side of the bracket #2 Minnesota State (Mankato) hosts #3 Ferris State, while on the other side the #1 Valdosta State Blazers welcome the #4 Notre Dame (Ohio) Falcons.

    That’s the best way to describe the one-sided affair from Saturday’s Super Three Regional Final between the No. 2 seed Ferris State Bulldogs and the No. 1 seed Ouachita Baptist Tigers.

    For the second straight year (and third in the last five seasons) the MIAA was kept out of the Regional Finals. From 2004-2013, the MIAA had at least one team make it that far and on five occasions, both of the regional finalists hailed from the conference.
