  2. CIAA Week 3: It's a Short Week and a Scheduling Fiasco

    The CIAA underwent a lot of cancellations given that Hurricane Florence impacted both North and South Carolina. It will be interesting to see how the conference reacts now that most teams have a nine game schedule. Even more interesting is that this week could impact how teams prepare for the postseason. Qualifying for the D2 playoffs require a team to have won seven games. The most obvious contender for the playoffs would still be Virginia State, who played two FCS games and now had their game ...

    And just like that we begin conference play! Well for the most part. Thanks to the departure of Tiffin, we have an odd number of football teams in the GLIAC, so each week someone will be left out of the fun.

  5. PSAC Week 3

    Week 3 in the PSAC is final weekend of full crossover action; the story of the 2018 PSAC football season is starting to come into focus as the calendar approaches the ½ point of September. Many chapters still have to be written and many stories are still in the prologue stage, some are setting up to be long successful trips, IUP (2-0) and West Chester (2-0) both appear to be legit title contenders.
