WSSU sure did a good job rolling up the point. In fact, they scored 34 points in the third quarter and put an end to all the hype VU was getting early on in the season as the Rams walloped the VU Panthers 67 - 16.
This game was over in a hurry. WSSU scored early and often. Rams QB Kameron Smith connected early with TE Michael Byrd for the first of many scores the Rams would have on the evening. The Rams scored a total of 11
At the end of last season, in my final article of the season, i wrote about the idea of expanding the CIAA. The idea came to mind as a die hard CIAA fan and an alum of a CIAA institution, seeing all the D1 institution switch conferences and the emergence of the Great American Conference here in D2.
Now, since the D2 Website is interactive, whats you're opinion about the CIAA expanding to 16 teams? who should they add?

I'm hearing a whole lot of folks all hyped up about VUU quick 2-0 start. Lets give credit where credit is due. Coach Mike Bailey has done a good job getting these kids focused in the midst of a Hurricane against a good St. Aug squad and on the road in the Palmetto City against Benedict.
WSSU on the other hand won a hard fought battle against ESCU, but now face a VUU team thats angry for how WSSU slapped them around

Winston Salem State at Elizabeth City State
The ESCU Vikings already have a week of football under their belt. They went down to Cleveland, MS and played the likes of the #2 ranked team in the nation in Delta State University. It took a furious second half comeback and overtime for Delta State to walk away with the W.
Winston Salem State on the other hand is my pick to finish second in the conference. Head Coach Connell Maynor is an offensive
