  1. Week 7 recap, Rulers of the North

For back to back weekends, the game of the week has lived up to the hype and this past weekends game of the week was probably the most exhilarating 3OT game you've seen in all of D2 football this year.

ELIZABETH CITY STATE 43 VIRGINIA UNION 41

When homecoming comes around, the home team seems to be playing at another level. Out of nowhere, regardless of how bad/good the home team has performed up until that point in the season, homecoming invigorates ...

  2. Week 7 Predictions, Northern Supremacy

As of today, there seems to be a bottleneck in the Northern Division. We have three teams jockeying for that one coveted spot that will send them to Durham come November. Virginia Union, Elizabeth City State and Virginia State all control their own destiny. Who ever wins out, will be in Durham. 3. Week 6 Recap, OMG, you blew it!

I'll have to admit, my feelings are hurt. As if the bride left me at the alter, I feel as if I have been cheated on, betrayed, and lied to. Or maybe a better example is I have invested all my money into an investment firm that later turns out to be a Ponzi scheme.

  4. Week 6, The Battle of Midway

We are at the midway point in the season and there are some crucial football games to be played, starting with this week's, game of the week.

    Game of the Week

Bowie State (3-1) at Virginia State (2-2)

Bowie State was my favorite to win the CIAA at the beginning of the year. After a heartbreaking defeat last week to the hands of Virginia Union, The BSU bulldogs are hungry to continue their winning ways. The bottom line, BSU underestimated VU, they got ...

  5. Week 5 Recap, 0-8 past two champs

I know that in the beginning of the season, I made some prediction on how certain teams were going to fare well, other teams not so well, and some teams will surprise others.

But I could have never predicted that both Shaw University and Fayetteville State University, would be sitting at a combined 0-8 right now? Are you kidding me? As much as it sounds weird to type, it's weird to read, and I can imagine the fan base at both institutions are in need of some Pepto Bismol to relieve ...
